Membership
Thailand Privilege Card
The Thailand Privilege Card is a government-backed membership granting 5 to 20 years in Thailand based on a paid membership fee rather than income, assets, employment or age. Our service is free: the programme pays authorised agents a commission, so you pay only the membership fee.
A quick note from our Director, Wat
I'm a retired American veteran married to a Tanzanian wife and their whole team has been helpful and accommodating in our visa struggles here in Thailand. So glad I found them. I would give them 11 stars if I could.
Quick and extremely reliable service. The company provided clear, direct, answers to all of our questions and made the visa processing far quicker and much easier than it would have been otherwise.
Their webportal is easy to work with and they respond quickly and adequately. Fah and Wat are very friendly persons that did all the work for me and helped me through the processes of getting a bank account and the visa.
Before you start
Who is the Thailand Privilege Card actually for?
Before we ever discuss this one with a client we go through every other pathway that might fit. It makes the most sense in some very specific situations.
Simplicity over complexity
You could qualify for another visa, but would have to structure things in a way you would rather not. You would rather pay once and stop thinking about it.
No other visa fits
You are an early retiree under 50, between businesses, or living off income and assets that do not map cleanly onto the other programmes.
Family coverage
Your spouse is under 50 with no qualifying income of their own, or would rather not have their own deposit tied up in Thailand.
Travel flexibility
You move in and out of Thailand often and do not want a visa that needs Thai-based qualifications kept up all year round.
Step by step
How long does this take, and what do you have to do?
Five steps, in order, with the elapsed time for each and a plain division of labour. The middle column is everything you personally have to do. Read down it on its own if that is the question you came with.
Step 1: Eligibility assessment
- When
- Before anything is paidfrom engagement
- You
- Tell us what you are trying to achieve and how long you want to stay.
- Thailand Blueprint Team
- Walk you through every Thai visa route, not just this one. If something else fits better we say so. If this is right, we confirm which tier suits you.
Step 2: Client portal setup
- When
- Day 1from engagement
- You
- Upload your passport, your photos and your disclosures. Second nationalities matter here.
- Thailand Blueprint Team
- Set you up in the portal and build the full application package, including the multiple-passport disclosure that catches people out later.
Step 3: Submission and background screening
- When
- One to three monthsfrom application to the programme
- You
- Nothing, unless they come back with questions.
- Thailand Blueprint Team
- Submit to Thailand Privilege Card Company and track the screening through the Royal Thai Police, Immigration, the Consular Department and Foreign Affairs.
Step 4: Membership fee payment
- When
- On approvalfrom application to the programme
- You
- Pay the membership fee to Thailand Privilege Card Company once the written approval is issued.
- Thailand Blueprint Team
- Coordinate the timing of the invoice and confirm the payment has landed. You pay the programme directly, never us.
Step 5: Visa issued
- When
- Your choice of placefrom application to the programme
- You
- Decide where you want it issued: on arrival at a major Thai airport, remotely as an e-Visa through the Thai Embassy and Consulate system, or at Immigration in Bangkok.
- Thailand Blueprint Team
- Arrange whichever route you pick, then send your reporting deadlines and how to keep the visa in good standing for the whole term.
Total duration for the Thailand Privilege Card: Start to finish: one to three months of background screening, then issued wherever suits you
That is the whole process. If you want to know which parts apply to you, the assessment is free.

Client stories
What do our clients say?
The team at Blueprint are true professionals. They are extremely competent, knowledgeable and helpful in every step of the process. I highly recommend contacting them before anyone else.
Wat and his team were fantastic. Talk me through the whole process of obtaining my Non-O retirement visa, from the first contact email to getting that stamp in my passport. They were with me every step of the way.
My life has been very scattered over the past few years, and thus my visa situation was quite complicated. The whole team at Thailand Blueprint was incredible at handling all the different hurdles that appeared along the way, and I always felt 100% confident in their hands.
I had a complex situation that required insider knowledge of the visa application process, and with Fah and Wat's kind help, we got my visa approved. The team was responsive, proactively updated me before I had to ask, and showed professionalism throughout.
The entire process from initial consultation with Adam, getting my Thai bank account with Fah, and the trip to Immigration with Wat went perfectly without issues and quickly.
They offer a large range of support services for moving to Thailand that you can pick and chose to create your tailor-made package - as much or as little as you need. Very supportive one-to-one service.

Risk-free service commitment. As an authorised agent of Thailand Privilege Card Company, we are compensated directly by the programme. You pay nothing for our involvement, ever. No markups, no add-ons, no hidden charges. We will also never push the Privilege Card on clients who do not need it, if another visa fits your situation, we say so upfront.

Answers
What else do people ask about this visa?
What is the Thailand Privilege Card, and how is it different from other long-stay visas?
The Thailand Privilege Card, formerly called the Thailand Elite Visa, is a paid-membership program. You pay a one-time fee to join, and the headline benefit is a long-term visa to live in Thailand. It’s run by Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited, which is owned by the Thai government (specifically the Tourism Authority of Thailand, under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports).
Read the full answerWhat’s the difference between a Core Member and a Next Member, and who qualifies as a Next Member?
A Core Member is the main person on the membership: the one whose name it’s under and who pays the full membership fee. A Next Member is an immediate family member who’s added to a Core Member’s membership at a discounted rate. Next Members share the same term and the same pool of benefits as the Core Member, but pay a lower fee.
Read the full answerWhat is the Elite Personal Assistant (EPA) service, and why is it the most-used benefit?
The Elite Personal Assistant (EPA) service is the core privilege across all tiers, and it’s the single most-used benefit in the program. EPA gets you a personal greeting on arrival, fast-track immigration, and ground transportation help at major Thai international airports.
Read the full answerWhat’s the application process, and how long does it take?
It’s a two-stage process: background screening first, then payment and visa issuance. From submission to visa in hand typically takes 4 to 12 weeks, with most landing in the 6 to 10 week range. The variables are how clean your application is, your nationality (some passports trigger longer background checks), and whether the company comes back asking for more documents.
Read the full answerWhat documents are required for the application?
The Thailand Privilege Card is light on documents compared to the LTR Visa, but the documents you do need have to be prepared right. The company is detail-oriented, and they apply the same background-check standards used across all other Thai long-term visa pathways.
