What happens after I arrive in Thailand? How does the 12-Month Extension of the Non-O Retirement Visa work?

Once you arrive in Thailand on your 90-day Non-Immigrant ‘O’ Visa, you are provided a stay permit that reflects 90 days of Non-Immigrant visa status. From there, Thailand Blueprint works with you in person during your first week on the ground to complete the following steps in the correct sequence.

First, we open your Thai bank account. Then we guide you through transferring the required 800,000 Thai Baht into that account. From there, as soon as the funds of hit your newly opened Thai Bank Account, Thailand Blueprint accompanies you to the Immigration office with all required documentation pre-prepared, and your 12-month extension of stay is submitted and approved along with your Multiple Entry Re-Entry Permit. The entire Stage 2 process is usually completed within your first week in Thailand.
