My funds are slightly below the threshold / locked in investments. Do I still qualify?

For the deposit route, the money has to be fully liquid, sitting in a normal checking or everyday cash account you could withdraw from an ATM today. Funds locked in brokerage accounts, IRAs, 401(k)s, RRSPs, pensions, fixed-term accounts, crypto, trusts, or company accounts don't count unless you move them into a qualifying account first.
